To win a share of the prize, small businesses had to describe their digital challenges and explain in 50 words or less how Ricoh could help them with solutions like collaboration technologies, automated business processes, information mobility, and digitizing paper-based documents and processes.

The winning organizations are:

  • Region 1: New South Wales: Australian Marketing Institute
  • Region 2: Victoria/Tasmania: Smart Solutions

Each winner will receive $10,000 worth of Ricoh products, services, and solutions, including a Ricoh workplace technology assessment conducted by one of Ricoh’s expert consultants. This assessment will help each business plan, map, and understand their digital transformation needs.

Andy Berry, Managing Director of Ricoh Australia, commented, “The standard of submissions in this competition was very high. We look forward to working with these five diverse organizations and seeing the positive impact of Ricoh’s feature-rich technology on their businesses.”

Erik Bigalk, Founder and Creative Director of Smart Solutions and one of the winners, said, “As a marketing firm handling various projects and content collateral, we see great benefits in automation, digitization of documentation, and content management.”

Esther Swanborough, Director at Swanborough Funerals and another winner, added, “We own a funeral home and provide quality service and life-honoring tributes.
